In this document you will find a map of how the site www.over500club.org is managed in connection with the treatment given to the personal details of the users consulting it. This information is given in relation to Art. 13 del d.lgs. n. 196/2003 – laws regulating the protection of personal data belonging to those who interact with the Web services of the over500club accessible on the address: www.over500club.org, corresponding to the initial page of the official site. The information refers only to the site itself, and not to other sites which users may consult through the links. This information also keeps in mind Recommendation n. 2/2001 on the protection of personal data adopted 17 May 2001 by the European Authorities in the person of the Group set up by art. 29 of the directive n. 95/46/EEC in order to set out the minimum requisites for the collection of personal data on-line, and, in particular, the modality, times and the nature of the information that the handlers are obliged to give users when they connect with web pages, regardless of the reasons for their connection.

After entering this site, this site can handle data in connection with people who are identified or can be identified.
The ‘holder’ of the right to handle such data is the President of the OVER500CLUB, with Head Offices in 55049 Viareggio (Italy), via A.Saffi 3.
PLACE OF HANDLING OF DATA
The handling of data connected with the web services of this site is carried out only by people in charge of their treatment, or occasionally by people in charge of maintenance operations. No information deriving from the web services will be communicated or otherwise made public.
Personal data supplied by users who require informative material (newsletters, subscription forms, annual reports, replies to questions, acts and decision, etc.) will be used only to carry out the service that has been requested and can be passed on to third parties only when necessary for those ends (shipping, correspondence or publication of the OVER500CLUB magazine edited by the club itself.
TYPE OF DATA TREATED
In the course of their normal function, the computer system and the software used in the working of this site acquire some personal data whose transmission comes about in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identifiable persons, but it could, by its very nature, permit third parties to identify the users if it were re-elaborated and associated with other data in their possession.
This data is used only to gather anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to make sure that everything is working smoothly, and it is cancelled immediately after its elaboration. It might be used for assessments made in connection with the responsibility of possible computer crimes committed against the site. Except in such cases, at the present time data concerning web contacts are not maintained for more than seven days. Users are free to send, only if they explicitly wish to do so, electronic mail to the addresses indicated in the site and the address of the sender as well as any other personal data that might be contained in the e-mail itself will be acquired in order to reply to the request.
COOKIES
In this connection none of the users’ personal data is acquired by the site. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature and no persistent cookies of any type are used, i.e., systems which permit users to be traced. The use of session cookies (which are not memorized in a persistent way on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (made up of casual numbers generated by the server) that are necessary in that they allow the site to be explored safely and in an efficient way.
COMMUNICATING DATA IS OPTIONAL
Apart from what has already been set out above in relation to data that permits surfing the web, users of OVER500CLUB are free to give or withhold the personal data contained in the request forms or in any case those asking for information or any other communication. Withholding such information might mean that we will not be able to carry out the request.
HOW THE DATA IS TREATED
Personal data is treated with automatic instruments and only for the time strictly necessary to execute the job for which they have been collected. Specific security measures are followed to prevent the loss of such data, illicit or incorrect use of the same or any non-authorized access.
RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED
The subjects of all personal data collected have the right to be given confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data at any moment of time, to be acquainted with their contents and origin, verify their exactness or request the integration, revision or correction of the information contained (Art.7 del d.lgs. n.196/2003). In conformity with the same article of law, the right exists to claim that such data be cancelled or changed into anonymous form or blocked in cases where any data has been treated in such a way as to break the law. It is also possible to oppose their collection for legitimate reasons. Such requests will be sent to the President of the OVER500CLUB. Every effort will be made to make the working of this site as interactive as possible with the automatic privacy control mechanisms available in some of the products utilized by users.
